On Sunday I managed a quick 25k with wind and rain, just enough to work up a hunger for agnello and primitivo. On Monday 45k. Over Easter I totaled 130k with 1610m of climbing. I guess the average speed was somewhere around 24.5 which is not bad given the wind and the vertical. I would have liked to have gone further, but that's all I had time for. I rode at lunch Tuesday. I did the circuit at 29.7kph on my road bike, which was not bad considering I was solo and the wind was against me all the way round (did I say it was all uphill?).
