First Blog entry for Slowcolnago (Greg), and first ride with the new (used) carbon forks. They are the way to go! No loss of handling or stiffness, but much less road buzz. 130 psi in the tubulars and almost no buzz whatsoever.

All alone this past Saturday, couldn't get anyone interested despite 10 C promissed (6 C actual). Did 65 km on the golden triangle (Don Valley bike paths; Leslie Spit-Taylor Creek-Sunnybrook). Averaged 24 km/h, not bad given the big winds and 6 short, steep climbs, also, no peleton bitches to rest behind!! Back of knees sore on Sunday, spun them out on the rollers for 15 min. and now feeling much better.

15k today again. Strong winds, mostly behind us. 35kph going downhill, 40kph on the flats. Started to rain when we put the bikes away (ride em hard. Put em to bed wet).m.

15k. Almost ran smack into a herd of sheep. 200 yards later free ranging horses were running beside us. All very Walt Disney. m.
