Minchia, yes.
P1? P2? 180 MHR? My Moto Guzzi is looking more and more like the wheels of choice.
Today i followed P3: woke up, drank coffee, went back to bed, fell asleep. My MHR didn't go beyond 156 (a real athlete). I dreamt I was climbing Mt Kilimanjaro. Oh where has all the snow gone?
Yes, please publish all of the trivia regarding your training that you can. That's just the kind of thing that we bike weenies thrive on. Posting attachments is not currently possible, but email them to me and I will publish them for you.

Bronchitis. Antibiotics, anthistamines, asperin and things that go "poof". I told the doctor to give me whatever it takes to get me on my feet. And he did. I just hope there are enough days left to sweat it all out of my system before the antidoping checks. It's hard to imagine climbing to 2000m in the cold when you have difficulty breathing at rest...but the human body is a wonderful and resilient thing and I went to sleep dreaming of this.

I'm baaaaaaaaadk. Ou est Il Derny Gianno? Hoping to hear from him, soon.

Alice (of Wonderland fame): What is a "Il Derny Gianno"
March Hare: You mean who.
A: Who what?
MH: Exactly.
A: I see, then WHO is Il Derny Gianno.
MH: Obviously, he is "The Yellow Derny", in Italian. Probably more correctly "La Derny Gianna", but as he personifies the Yellow Derny, and is not literally a Derny per se, and he is a he, the he is "IL Derny GiannO". Is that clear?
A: That depends.
MH: Depends on who, or rather, what?
A: Depends on what the F*&K a "Derny" is.
MH: A Derny is a motorcycle pacer, used for paced bicycle races, like Keirins. Originally designed and built in Paris by Roger Derny and Sons. Now mostly built, to the original 1930's design, by Arie Siemon of Belgium.
A: So what's all this about a yellow derny?
MH: You mean who.
A: Fine, who's this "Il Derny Gianno"?
MH: Well, he set's the pace, stays up front, does all the work. And he and his bike are very yellow, unlike the usual black Dernys. And, he's very high and wide, like a sheet of plywood.
A: And he stays up front?!? Is he crazy ?
MH: Probably, we'll see when he gets back from Campo and Blockhaus

Been a long while since the last blog. Back into weights, cycling, and skating 3 times a week. Rollers once or twice in a good week, but way to cold now for any road work, or even serious roller time, for that matter. Up to a whopping 162 pounds, just 3 over my 9C fighting weight. Suffering form a strained knee, tennis elbow, and a slight shoulder tear. But enough Advil and Ben Gay coursing through my veins that I don't care. How are you guys making out?

Still trying to build some capital for a 9C repeat, but I really don't see it happening. It would cost me a trip for 4 to Germany for an event in Ramona's family, and that's just more coin than I have right now. Too bad. But I won't say Die until May 22, 6:00 AM rolls around, and I'm phoning Sud on the start line, instead of talking to him in person. That will be a sad day for Slo.
