My Saturday plans were torpedoed by family commitments, but I was able to get out for an hour both days this weekend.
We are at the tail end of a heat wave here. It's been getting progressively hotter all week but should break anytime now.... If I dont first. Although I have not done a long ride in a while I have been out riding in hills every day in 38-40° weather. The hot air wafting off the road was 42° on the climb. Only mad dogs and English go out in the midday sun. Add desparate cyclists to that.
